Risk Disclaimer

Important information about forex trading risks and our educational content.

Effective Date: January 12, 2026

HIGH RISK WARNING

Foreign exchange (forex) trading carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to trade foreign exchange, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.

3. Trading Risks

You should be aware of the following risks associated with forex trading:

3.1 Risk of Loss

  • You may lose some or all of your invested capital
  • Leveraged trading amplifies both potential profits AND potential losses
  • Market conditions can change rapidly, resulting in significant losses
  • Stop-loss orders may not always limit losses to the intended amount due to slippage

3.2 Market Risks

  • Currency prices can be highly volatile
  • Economic events, political instability, and natural disasters can cause sudden price movements
  • Liquidity may vary, affecting your ability to enter or exit positions
  • Weekend gaps and holiday periods can result in unexpected price movements

3.3 Leverage Risks

  • Leverage allows you to control large positions with a small amount of capital
  • While this can amplify profits, it also amplifies losses
  • You can lose more than your initial deposit
  • Margin calls may require additional funds or force position closures

3.4 Technical Risks

  • System failures, connectivity issues, or platform errors can affect trading
  • Automated trading systems may malfunction or perform unexpectedly
  • Code provided in our educational materials may contain errors or may not perform as expected in all market conditions

4. Past Performance

PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS

Any examples of past trading results, whether hypothetical or actual, are presented for educational purposes only and should not be construed as a guarantee of future performance. Trading results can and will vary.

5. Hypothetical Performance

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations:

  • They do not represent actual trading and may not reflect all market conditions
  • They cannot fully account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading
  • Hindsight bias may affect hypothetical results
  • No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown

6. Code and Automated Trading

Regarding code examples, strategy templates, and automated trading content in our materials:

Important Notices:

  • Code is provided for educational purposes only
  • All code should be thoroughly tested in a demo environment before any live use
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any code
  • Automated systems can and do fail
